Rather than letting the diagnosis of sarcoma defeat her, Jen vowed to help her fellow cancer patients.  She discovered that many organizations exist to support the most common cancers, but there are few, if any, that focus on the rare or "orphan" cancers that collectively affect millions of people, but don't receive the funding they desperately require.
